Welcome to the First Farragut United Methodist Church family, where our doors are open to people from all backgrounds.
We are so glad you have met us on this website, and we pray that something here will inspire you to come and experience our congregation in person.
Our congregation and its ministries exist to help people grow in love for God through Jesus Christ and to grow in love for others. Because faith is all about these relationships, we invite you to visit these pages and our congregation to get to know the people who are First Farragut United Methodist Church.
In the name of Jesus Christ, please accept our warm welcome, both to this website and to the congregation. Whether you’re just starting to seek God, or a committed Christian who wants to grow your faith even deeper, we welcome you to worship, study, grow, and serve among the people in our church family!
Join us this weekend for one of our worship services. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Join us for the launch (pun intended) of our new summer worship series,
"Get in the Boat: Adventures with Jesus". The worship center is set (be
prepared for a surprise) for "Why Get on the Boat? What's In It For
Me?" We'll also be commissioning our youth mission team at both worship
services.
So, spend time on family adventures this summer --
have fun, relax, and enjoy life -- but make sure you take some
spiritual adventures with Jesus. Get in a boat with Jesus. If you do,
you're in for an adventure you won't soon forget!

From the Mission Committee
Bruce and Emy
P, UMC workers in the Middle East, are urging
local congregations to visit a website that markets Iraqi-made "Klash" shoes.
|
These shoes are created by American Christian workers working in Iraq in
conjunction with Muslim Kurds. The sale of "Klash" handmade shoes helps support
heart surgeries for Iraqi children. Fifty percent of the amount you pay for a
pair of shoes goes directly to pay for surgeries. Please visit the website and
consider buying a very special pair of shoes that helps spread the love of
Christ in Muslim cities. The website address is: http://buyshoessavelives.com/preemptive-love/.
