You're Invited

Easter is the most significant day in the Christian calendar. It's a day where we are reminded that God's gift of life is more powerful than than sin and death. If you want to experience the living God in a service of worship that holds tradition and modernity together while keep Christ at the center, then join us to celebrate that "He is Risen!"

Two Services | One God

There are two opportunities to worship on Easter Sunday.

Hosted at our outdoor chapel near the far side of the parking lot, we will sing, pray, hear the Easter story, and celebrate Holy Communion.

Our full Easter morning worship experience including a live band leading Easter songs and hymns, traditional liturgies, the Easter story, and Holy Communion.

Come exactly how you are.

Come exactly how you are.

You don't have to dress to impress, though many enjoy dressing up for such a festive occasion. We have created a photo opportunity for you and your family, prepared hot coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, and designed a worship service that will glorify God and lift your spirit. We will celebrate Holy Communion as part of worship on this Sunday. All are welcome to participate regardless of membership: God's grace is bigger than that!

We have thought through every detail to ensure that your whole family has a meaningful experience on Easter. Our nursery workers are ready to receive children Birth - Pre-K and share the gospel with them through story, song, and a caring space. Elementary students and older are invited to participate in the great celebration in the primary service where they will have a worship pack designed just for them and will be invited to receive Holy Communion under your guidance.

What to expect

When you come in through the front doors, you will see a hospitality area prepared with fresh coffee, cool water, hot tea, and more. We also have a gift for your family at the Welcome Desk. We hope you'll pick it up! Please feel free to bring your beverages or snacks into the Worship Center.

The 10:30 service will feature a video catching us up on Jesus' story up to Easter morning. We will then sing traditional and contemporary songs of faith, pray together, recite an ancient creed, and hear about the good news of Easter. We will also celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

We believe that the gift of bread and wine (we use juice) are God's gift to all people who desire to draw near to him. That means we have an "open table" policy. All are welcome to receive the grace of Christ at Easter, regardless of your membership, background, or theological perspective. It is the Lord's table, and it's a gift to us all!

First Farragut UMC is a community oriented church that loves to serve in mission. We want to meet you, welcome you, and invite you to be part of our church's vision to inspire the world with the love of Christ. Please introduce yourself to those around you and to our pastor. We are glad you're here!

All children are welcome to join us in the main worship service, but we do have a nursery available for the youngest disciples. You will meet a volunteer or staff member near the hospitality area to check your child in.
