The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is an outward, visible sign of an inward, invisible grace. When individuals receive Holy Baptism, they are incorporated into the church and claimed by God. In the United Methodist Church, we practice both believer’s baptism and infant baptism.
If you have never received baptism or would like to sponsor a child for baptism, let us know so we can offer God’s gift of Baptism.
Every person who chooses to explore more about Jesus Christ is confronted with a life-changing question: “Who is Jesus to me?” At First Farragut UMC, we unequivocally proclaim Jesus as Lord and savior of the world. We believe that through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, he has saved us from sin for the blessing of the world.
