One of the best ways to get to know others at First Farragut is through serving on Sunday mornings. If you can open a door or share a friendly smile, there’s a place for you to join our Sunday morning “First Impressions” team. Each week, we have a team of ushers, greeters, and others who help us welcome one another as we enter worship. If you are willing to serve in this way, please contact Sue Edwards.
If you’re one of those who prefers to serve behind the scenes, we have a place for you on Sunday mornings as well! Our audio/visual team is always looking for support to help run sound, lyric slides, and visuals. If you can click a mouse or track pad, you can serve in this area. We’ll even train you! To begin serving in this area, or for more information, please contact us.
Every Sunday morning we offer three ways to lead with First Kids.
9:15am-11:30am – Nursery for infants – Pre-K is offered each week. We not only care for these children, but we also strive to show and teach them the love of God through prayer, play, and faith-filled conversations.
9:15am – Kids Grow is FFUMC’s version of Sunday School for children. Kids grow in their faith through godly play and by learning more about the love of God through Scripture.
10:30am – Kids Worship teaches children to worship God through music, dance, and learning activities. Children are challenged to memorize a weekly Bible verse and love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and with all their strength. Kids Worship does not meet in the first Sunday of the month to allow families to take communion together during the worship service.
